Bog & Clean

Rust repair in the front has know been finished, so its time to lay some bog/filler down..
(This is the second coat after the first didnt quite fill in everything)

I also did some degreasing of all the running gear.
Allowing bits to be sand blasted and cleaned ready for paint sometime.

At the same time removed the hubs from the front setup.

Also filled the gas tank with some White Vinegar to get rid of the corrosion and gunk.
(Apparently breaks it down quite well.! And smells good...)

Paint stripped the rear bumper, came up quite nice.!

Tried out the rear thermostat housing on the ze..
Seems ill have to make a low mount alternator bracket to suit..

And to clean bits easily i made a Sand Blast booth out of a fridge box..
This just allows the sand to be contained a bit.
Works a treat

Some more pescy rust repair.
I actually enjoy this sort of stuff..
Starting to slowly get through it all, Engine bay is now mostly complete with some bog being layed on soon.

Oh and i also scored a Snail that will be strapped to the side of the 4agze.
Its a s15 GT28 or Garrett GT2560R.

Rust Repair.

Started on some rust repair this afternoon, cut out some pieces from 1mm panel steel..

Now to weld them in.

New Shoes..

Parts week has just been and some parts i got.!
Scored some much needed bits.!
- Standard front arms and shock assemblies
- Speedo cluster
- Indicators & trims
- A 2 piece driveshaft
- alot more...
Oh and some sweet 15" dished, meshed rims.!

Along with all these new bits & pieces we moved the 86 into the shed, and setup the wall for storage...
